NEWS: MUSIC AND ACTIVITES FOR KIDS THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday 10/03/09  ATTEND A CHARITABLE EVENT.

“Kids’ Day 2009” showcases the young talented violinists from the Suzuki Music Center of Central Ohio. “Rock for Tots” provides the heavy sounds of the experienced rockers from Noise Auction (pictured below).

Join the experienced rockers of Noise Auction at the ROCK FOR TOTS event this Saturday at The Ballroom, 911 E. Dublin-Grandville Road. The event starts at 11am and continues throughout the evening.  Noise Auction will be providing heavy rock at 9pm.

All Genre Travel presents “Rock For Tots.” Activities start at 11am and from 2-3pm will be a costume contest for the kids. The adult contests will be throughout the evening and the winners will receive a cash prize.  Visit the Noise Auction MySpace page for more information and listen to their recent recordings.  Join Noise Auction this Saturday and give to charity, have fun with your kids, enjoy the music of N.A., and be automatically entered to win the raffle prize for a cruise vacation.

AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE “ROCK FOR TOTS” EVENT IN NORTH COLUMBUS IS “KIDS’ DAY 2009” TO BENEFIT THE OHIO STATE SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND MARCHING BAND.

KIDS’ DAY 2009 is hosted at The World of Bounce in Grove City, just 10 minutes south of downtown Columbus off I-71.  The event sponsors the Ohio State School for the Blind Marching Band.   Violin students from the Suzuki Music Center of Central Ohio will play at 2pm.

Kids’ Day 2009 is from 11-3pm and will offer free snacks and entertainment, games and prizes, clowns, a fire truck, and much more.  Additional educational activities include: a fire safety house, demonstrations, child I.D. cards, and fingerprint kits.  Donate only $7.00 and the entire family can enter the 12,000 sq. foot World Of Bounce full of  gigantic interactive inflatable.  The environment is climate controlled, clean, fun, and safe for children of all ages.

The Ohio State School for the Blind Marching Band is the only blind marching band in the nation.  The funds received from Kids’ Day 2009 will help send the band to the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA.

The Suzuki Music School of Central Ohio will offer entertainment that is sure to delight everyone. The violin students will play solos throughout the day and play together at 2pm.
